Meeting Information

Submitting Proposals & Other Agenda Items

Proposals and other agenda items can be submitted through campus mail or email (PDF or Word document) to 119 David Boyd Hall or graduatecouncil@lsu.edu. Submissions must be made no later than two weeks prior to the date of the meeting you are requesting to attend. Proposals are reviewed in the order in which they are submitted and may be tabled to the next meeting date if time does not allow for proper review. When meetings are canceled for any reason, submissions will be tabled to the next meeting.

Meeting Schedule

The Graduate Council generally meets at least once a month during the academic year. It does not normally meet during vacations or during the summer. Most actions of the Graduate Council are part of a public record and as such, the minutes of each meeting, after approval by the Council and redaction of any personnel issues, are publicly available below. Minutes from past meetings can be found in the Past Meeting Minutes section.
