Registering with Disability Services

A student with an eligible disability can register with our office by submitting an application for services and supporting documentation through the Student Application portal. Please visit the forms tab to complete the documentation related to the nature of the disability. Once the completed documentation and student application is received, please allow 5-7 business days for notification. Students may view the status of their application through the Student Application portal and will be notified of the status through their LSU email.

To learn more about accommodations, please visit types of eligible accommodations.

For those Already Registered with LSU Disability Services

Each semester, you must submit an Accommodation Request through the online portal. Although registered students have access to their student portal at all times, students may submit their accommodation request(s) on the first day of classes. If you have trouble accessing your student portal or need to amend your accommodations, please schedule an appointment with your DS Accommodation Coordinator through the student portal or contact the Main Office.

If you are already registered, please review your eligibility and other pertinent information through your Student Access portal.

For questions or concerns, you may contact us during our normal business hours of Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
