LSU Transcript Request
Louisiana State University is pleased to announce that all transcript requests are now processed through a partnership with Credentials Solutions. New functionality allows all students, both current and former, to order transcripts 24/7 using the TranscriptsPlus System. In addition, all students can now opt to receive transcripts by mail or via secure electronic delivery, which can provide students with their official transcripts almost instantaneously! We are thrilled to offer this new online platform which provides faster service, enhanced delivery options, and greater security of students' academic records.
With the current closure of the University due to COVID-19, this service will ensure that there is no delay in our students, former students, and alumni being able to send and receive their transcripts. Given the current environment, we wanted to make sure this service was functional as soon as possible. We are working to enhance the service for current students to make the process even more user friendly and efficient in the coming weeks.
Currently enrolled students can print a college record through their myLSU account. A College Record is a free, unofficial document that provides you with the same information that is found on the Transcript document. Information on requesting a College Record is available on GROK.
This ordering process is only able to issue transcripts for courses taken through the following campuses: LSU A&M - Baton Rouge, LSU Online, LSU Online and Distance Learning, LSU School of Veterinary Medicine, and the LSU Law Center.
This ordering process is not available for non-credit courses pursued through LSU’s Distance Learning Unit.
Louisiana State University has chosen Credentials Solutions as the designated agent for processing and sending official transcripts through an encrypted and secure service on behalf of the University. This system can accept an order for up to 5 transcripts to be sent to 5 different recipients. If you need to send more than 5 transcripts or have more than 5 recipients, you will need to submit multiple orders. At the completion of each order you will have the option to return to the beginning of the process and enter another order. In most cases, you will only have to enter the information that is different than in the previous order.
To request a transcript, current and former students access the TranscriptsPlus System through different portals. In each scenario, payment must be made by credit card. To use the system, follow the appropriate link below.

What you need:
- Turn off your pop-up blocker
- Have your debit or credit card ready for payment
- Have the recipient’s address available
- Sign in to myLSU
- Click on “Student Services” in the left menu
- Click on “Request Transcript”
- If you are a former student/alumni of the Louisiana State University and are not able to log into myLSU, you can access your transcript through Credentials Solutions.
- $10 per transcript
- $20 per Notarized Transcript (special processing charge)
- $40 per Apostilled Transcript (International Use Only)
- $50 per Notarized Apostille (International Use Only)
- $23.00 for overnight service (Continental USA)
- $30.00 for overnight service (Alaska & Hawaii
- $53.00 for overnight service to international destinations
Louisiana State University will not accept transcript requests via mail, fax, or email with credit card information listed.

If you have questions about the process or encounter difficulty in entering your order, please contact Credentials Solutions customer service representatives available from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm on Monday-Thursday and from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm (CST/CDT) on Fridays at 847-716-3005.
If there is a hold on your account that prevents the release of your transcript, you will be contacted by our office.
The Office of Bursar Operations places holds on the release of transcripts of students who are in debt to the University. Please be aware that if there is a “Bursar Hold” on your transcript, and you choose to pay what you owe the University via myLSU using a credit card, it may take up to 48 hours to clear your account and to lift the hold. For questions, you may contact the Office of Bursar Operations at 225-578-3357.
**Due to COVID-19, the Bursar is working remotely and only reachable via email.**
Louisiana State University will only re-send mailed transcripts to higher education institutions.
Higher education institutes with a domestic mailing address will be resent to the same address at no charge after 15 days and up to 30 days from the date of the initial order. Requests for re-send before 15 days or after 30 days of the initial order will require the placement of a separate order.
Higher education institutes with an international mailing address will be resent to the same address at no charge after 30 days and up to 45 days from the date of the initial order. Requests for re-send before 30 days or after 45 days of the initial order will require the placement of a separate order.
Electronic PDF transcripts will not be re-sent without the placement of a separate order.
