Location & Parking
Fall Fest takes place on the LSU Parade Ground, a grassy gathering area along Highland Road bounded by Dalrymple Drive and Veterans Drive.
Loading and Unloading for Fall Fest
A loading and unloading area will be available on Tower Drive to be utilized by sponsors, campus departments, and student organizations. Vehicles will not be permitted to park in this space, but will be required to unload (or load) only, and then be expected to immediately move their vehicle to the X60 lot. Shuttles will be running throughout the event to bring sponsors back and forth between the event site and the X60 lot.
We encourage everyone to label all of their materials prior to coming to Fall Fest so that items are not lost and can be delivered directly to your booth if we have enough volunteers.
Fall Fest Event Sponsors
Limited parking spaces will be available on Veterans Drive and Tower Drive (around the Parade Ground) for the presenting (5 spaces), gold (3 spaces), and purple (1 space) sponsors. Additional parking spaces for these sponsorship levels and parking for all booth level sponsors will be located in the X60 lot behind the International Cultural Center, with entrances to the lot off West Lakeshore Drive (just east of the roundabout on Dalrymple Drive). Parking passes for sponsors will be mailed to sponsors in advance, with printed versions available at Fall Fest check-in.
LSU is a pedestrian- and biking-friendly campus, so parking booths and gates restrict driving through campus from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. Access to the center of campus will only be available to those with pre-approved access for regular business.
Current LSU Parking Permit Holders
Current LSU parking permit holders (students, faculty, and staff) should park within their designated zones and in accordance with the parking Rules & Regulations outlined by Parking & Transportation Services.
“B” parking on Veterans Drive (in front of the LSU Student Union) and Tower Drive will be limited on Friday, September 28 due to Fall Fest. For those who routinely park here, please be prepared to locate alternative parking on this date.
Tower Drive may be a bit more congested than normal during Fall Fest as sponsors, departments, and student organizations load and unload supplies for Fall Fest from their vehicles. Please be mindful and cautious of other vehicles and pedestrians while driving on Tower Drive and Veterans Drive.
Regulations for All Visitors to Campus
All visitors to the LSU campus should park within the designated visitor or metered parking in accordance with the parking Rules & Regulations outlined by Parking & Transportation Services. Additional questions should be directed to Parking & Transportation Services (225-578-5000).
Tailgating for the weekend football game is permitted after 5 p.m. Friday in accordance with Athletics Gameday Parking Regulations.
