Jonathan Sahlman

Biography

Jon M. Sahlman is a first-year doctoral student in the Manship School of Mass Communication. Prior to joining Manship, he attended Western Kentucky University where he received his B.A. in both Communication Studies & Sociology as well as his M.A. in Organizational Communication. While at WKU he won a National Championship in Lincoln-Douglas debate, co-founded a non-profit in Chicago, and presented research at both the Kentucky Communication Association, and the National Communication Association. His research interests include moral disengagement, racial/gender representations, and queer identity. Originally from California, he is also a proud graduate of Modesto Junior College.
