I work in residential life because of the passion I have for student support work. As a first generation student myself I have found that there is so much that I didn't know I needed during my time in college and I love being able to provide the support that I sometimes struggled to find within my experience to students who would benefit from that same support.

I also just love working within the college environment, the passion that students have for their school, the energy that exists on campus, and the fun that you get to have working with student staff is incredibly rewarding.

Living on campus is truly the most rewarding experience, you meet your best friends, are close to all of the most amazing campus experiences, and build a home that is uniquely your own in a way that you just can't in most other living situations. -Connor

Little did you know

I am a Florida man through and through, I love the beach, the amusement parks, hate the cold, and spend like 90% of my vacations just going back to the places I grew up in South and Central Florida.

The place to be in Baton Rouge

I love the food we have here, everything from Sushi, to barbecue, to crawfish and the best soul food that you will find anywhere.

If I didn't have this job, what would I do?

Amateur baseball player, I'm not good enough to go pro, but let me play baseball everyday for fun and I would absolutely do it.
