Fall Commencement | LSU Commencement

Fall Commencement

December 18th, 2020

In-Person Commencement Ceremony

Graduates will be seated in the stands at Tiger Stadium with their own guests and will be socially distanced from other groups. Masks will be required at all times.

This will be a ‘contactless’ ceremony, so graduates will not walk across the stage. Instead, their names will be read aloud and displayed on the video screen in Tiger Stadium, and they will briefly stand in place to be acknowledged by their guests and the crowd. Also, to remain contactless, there will not be a printed commencement program and diplomas will not be handed out on site but will be mailed to the graduates. Photographers will not be on-site

Tickets will be delivered electronically to graduates who RSVP'd on Monday, Dec. 14. They will be sent to the email address provided when the graduate completed their RSVP for the event. Tickets should be shown on a mobile phone at the gate to gain entry to the stadium. All guests in a party must enter together. Tickets are not transferrable. Due to the health and safety regulations in place for this event, we are unable to offer additional tickets, beyond the initial allotment.

On-campus parking for graduation will be available in all ungated parking lots at no charge and with no permits required. Graduates and guests may park in any ungated lot or in any unmarked, unpainted, or unreserved space along any street on campus. Accessible parking will be available for those with disability license plates/placards or state-issued disability IDs. Those vehicles will be allowed to park in a designated area close to Tiger Stadium, in Event Lot 101, which is located just outside the West gates of the stadium.
