About The Ensemble
The LSU Concert Band is the newest concert organization in the Department of Bands and is comprised of musicians from academic disciplines across the entire university, as well as music majors looking to refine their skills on secondary instruments. The ensemble performs classic wind band repertoire in addition to select orchestral, choral, and keyboard transcriptions.
The LSU Concert Band is open to all interested students. The ensemble meets on Mondays from 3:40 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. starting Spring 2027.
