10 Ways to Get Involved at LSU

February 22, 2024

We're often asked how students can get involved on campus. While there are a multitude of paths a student can take, here are a few easy steps to get started.

  1. Download the TigerLink app and discover a world of events, clubs, and ideas to connect to the LSU experience. Search LSU TigerLink on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
  2. Create your TigerLink profile on the app or visit lsu.edu/tigerlink for the website experience.
  3. Search Groups on TigerLink to find those that match your interests. If you do not see what you are looking for, we can help you start a new one!
  4. Visit Involvement Fest to meet student groups in person. The event is typically held during the first two weeks of the semester.
  5. Participate in service to your community through the Volunteer LSU initiative. Opportunities are shared in this group. Find it on our website.
  6. Develop your leadership skills to enhance your student experience or to lead an org. Contact us for one-on-one coaching and group trainings.
  7. Volunteer at the LSU Food Pantry by signing up at lsu.edu/foodpantry. The pantry serves all currently enrolled students five days a week.
  8. Attend an on campus event after reviewing options on lsu.edu/tigerlink. You can filter by event type to see social, spiritual, cultural, academic, etc.
  9. Learn about LSU traditions and your new community by exploring the 101 Things to Do List on the Campus Life website.
  10. Follow Campus Life on social media to keep up with the latest news – @lsucampuslife on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.
