Registration Open for LSU Executive Education’s Fall Executive Development Course

June 14, 2023

Experienced professionals who seek to advance to senior or executive-level leadership are encouraged to register for LSU Executive Education’s Executive Development Program (EDP). The next session of this nonconsecutive, five-day program will be held Aug. 28, 29, & 30 and Sept. 25 & 26, 2023.

The transition from management to the enterprise-level executive is more than just a promotion. It requires development across all aspects of leadership, ranging from communication and networking to relatability and organizational engagement. Today's executives are required to develop and communicate their organization's strategy and principles, balance competing priorities, and make tough decisions, all while developing future talent. This non-consecutive comprehensive, five-day program combines executive coaching, self-assessment, experiential learning, and much more to prepare leaders to meet their organization's needs of today, while still focusing on developing solutions to the challenges of tomorrow.

Each participant in the Executive Development Program will undergo a comprehensive feedback process that gives them insight into their work performance and leadership skills. They will also engage in one-on-one coaching sessions with an experienced business coach that will assist them with developing an individual development plan (IDP). This IDP can then be used by your organization to encourage further professional development and to enhance overall performance improvement.

Held in LSU’s Business Education Complex, this program is ideal for employees with a minimum of five years of work experience; leaders who are working in technical/functional areas who have progressed rapidly within the organization; leaders who were identified as having the capacity for greater responsibilities within the near future; and individuals who desire to sharpen their analytical and decision-making skills.

The registration fee includes tuition, study materials, online leadership assessments, learning days, professional business coaching, lunches, excursions, and refreshments. An early-bird discount is available to those who register before June 30, 2023, while the standard registration deadline is August 7, 2023.
