Jennifer B. Settoon
Jennifer B. Settoon is an attorney, public servant, and dedicated LSU alumna. Mrs.
Settoon is proud of the fact that her family's ties to Louisiana State University
span four generations and more than a century. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from
LSU in 1993, receiving numerous academic honors while also participating in the University's
Spirit Program. Her time at LSU ignited a lasting commitment and heart of service
for youth development and safety, leading her to have the opportunity in helping shape
national safety standards within the growing world of sports.
Mrs. Settoon received her Juris Doctor from the LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 1996 and has been a licensed attorney for over 30 years. She is also currently a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association. Mrs. Settoon is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States and has previously served as an Assistant District Attorney. Along with her gubernatorial appointment to the LSU Board of Supervisors, she was also appointed to and currently serves on the Louisiana Commission on Law Enforcement and Administration of Criminal Justice. Mrs. Settoon also serves on the Board of Directors for the Karnival Krewe de Louisiane whose purpose is to raise funds for cancer research, education and patient care in the Baton Rouge area.
