Food Innovation Resources

The LSU AgCenter Food Innovation Institute, FOODii, is a resource center where entrepreneurs can start a food business, process foods, receive technical and marketing assistance, and benefit from expert advice and research on food safety and food sustainability. The state’s only seafood-focused facility providing commercial food processing equipment and training for value-added seafood products, packaging innovations, and food safety research and workshops. Seafood Processing Demonstration Lab (LSU AgCenter)

Conducts applied and basic research across crop genetics, pest/disease management, precision agriculture, livestock, soil/water management, and food safety — generating innovations producers depend on.
