Health & Wellness

LSU First provides access to a wide variety of different programs and plan initiatives to help improve the health and support the well-being of eligible members and their covered dependents.

LSU First offers a customized bariatric surgery program covering gastric sleeve and gastric bypass surgical interventions. Members must be referred to the program by WebTPA Clinical Services Care Coordination. If you are interested in learning more about the Bariatric program, please contact WebTPA Clinical Services at 855-346-5781.

WebTPA Clinical Services provides members with personalized care coordination and navigation assistance to help eliminate barriers to health and wellbeing.  Their care coordination team members work directly with members and their primary care providers (PCPs) to identify, understand, and take control of health risks and chronic diseases so that members have the best health outcomes possible.

All members have access to this free service. Members with identified chronic conditions and health risks will receive a call from the WebTPA Clinical Services care coordination team to jump start their engagement with information, available services, and resources. The care coordinators can help members fully understand their treatment plan, monitor their care plan progress, and help eliminate any delays in treatment. They can also recommend community resources and educational programs to help members reach their health goals.

Members can self-enroll with HighCare at 855-346-5781, Monday – Friday, 8am to 5pm CST. For more information on the services WebTPA Clinical Services provides, please see the WebTPA Clinical Services flyer

Wellness Credit Requirement: In order to maintain the Wellness Credit, members identified by HighCare are required to enroll and participate in care coordination. If you opt out of care coordination or HighCare is unable to contact you, you will lose the wellness credit.

LSU First, in conjunction with WebTPA, partners with Cleveland Clinic’s Centers of Excellence (COE) Program that allows members to seek services with a top-quality hospital and doctors that provide personalized support and zero out-of-pocket costs for certain services related to cardiac, orthopedic, or spinal procedures. If you are interested in learning more about the Cleveland Clinic COE Program, please contact WebTPA at 855-346-5781 or email COE@webtpa.com.
