2027-28 Upperclassman Options
Reserve 2027-28 Campus Housing Starting November 2, 2026

All First-year Students: November 2, 2026, at 10 a.m. CST
- The housing portal opens to submit a 2027-28 on-campus housing application and contract, search for roommates, and create a preferred roommate group of you + up to three roommates.
- You won't select an actual space yet!
Select Your Same Community
First-year Students Living in ECA and WCA: November 10, 2026, at 10 a.m. CST - November 15, 2026
- Reserve any available apartment room in East Campus Apartments or West Campus Apartments, place preferred roommates into open rooms. Alternatively, each student can select their own room in a 4-bedroom apartment, for example.
- Each student must submit the $250 nonrefundable prepayment to secure the reservation.

First-year Students Living in Annie Boyd Hall and Cedar Hall: November 10, 2026, at 10 a.m. CST - November 15, 2026
- Reserve a spot in Annie Boyd Hall or Cedar Hall.
- Each student must submit the $250 nonrefundable prepayment to secure the reservation.
- Your actual room assignment in these buildings will be made later by our team, but you are signing up to live in this dorm for next year. Roommate requests will be honored as available.
- Upperclassmen living in Annie Boyd and Cedar Halls are required to have a meal plan.

- Reserve any available apartment room in Nicholson Gateway Apartments, East Campus Apartments, or West Campus Apartments and place your preferred roommate(s) into open rooms.
- Reserve a spot in Annie Boyd Hall or Cedar Hall. Your actual room assignment in these buildings will be made later by our team, but you are signing up to live in this dorm for next year. Roommate requests will be honored as available.
- Each student must submit the $250 nonrefundable prepayment to secure the reservation.
- This is the first opportunity first-year residents to select an apartment in Nicholson Gateway Apartments.
- Upperclassmen living in Annie Boyd and Cedar Halls are required to have a meal plan.

- Join the apartment interest list to request a different apartment style. The assignments team will use this list and information to offer you a more preferred apartment space as they become available through consolidations and cancellations.

Reserve Your Exact Same Room: November 2, 2026, at 10 a.m. - November 4, 2026
- Reserve your exact same room in your apartment and submit the nonrefundable prepayment. After this time, your room can be selected by other students.
- Place Roommates: November 5, 2026 at 10 a.m. CST - November 8, 2026
- If you secured your room November 2-4, you can place your preferred roommates into open rooms in the apartment.
- Alternatively, each student can select their own room in a 2-bedroom apartment, for example.
- Each student must submit the nonrefundable prepayment to secure the room.
Reserve a Different Apartment in Nicholson Gateway Apartments: November 10, 2026, at 10 a.m. CST - November 15, 2026
- Reserve any available apartment room in Nicholson Gateway Apartments with the option to place preferred roommates into open rooms. Alternatively, each student can select their own room in an apartment, for example.
- Each student must submit the $250 nonrefundable prepayment to secure the reservation.

- Reserve any available apartment room in Nicholson Gateway Apartments, East Campus Apartments, or West Campus Apartments and place your preferred roommate(s) into open rooms.

Acceptance into the Honors Community at ECA will likely come after apartment reservations begin in November.
If you reserve an on-campus option and are then admitted to the ECA Honors Community, we'll reassign you from your selection to ECA Honors.

The Fine Print
Each student must submit the $250 nonrefundable prepayment to secure their reservation.
Roommates
You can list up to three preferred roommates in your Preferred Roommate Group in the housing portal prior to apartment selection. If there is an available room in the apartment you choose, you can place a roommate from your preferred roommate group into that available room in your apartment.
Each student must submit the $250 nonrefundable prepayment in the housing portal to complete the process and secure the space.
Being in a roommate group does not guarantee you to be roommates.
Apartment/Room Changes
Once you secure an apartment space online and submit the $250 nonrefundable prepayment, you will have to contact our room assignments staff to make any changes to your room/apartment assignment.
A $250 nonrefundable prepayment is required to secure your space for the next year.
Payment must be made with a credit or debit card in the online housing portal within 48 hours of apartment/room reservation. After 48 hours, reservations will be purged to make spaces available to other students.
The entire $250 will be applied toward the fall fee bill. However, those that cancel their assignment will forfeit the entire $250, and are subject to the cancellation fee schedule.
Scholarship Payment
Students who use scholarship money for their housing will need to submit the nonrefundable prepayment during the online renewal process with a credit or debit card. The prepayment will not affect the amount covered by scholarship. Once the scholarship funds are applied to the student’s fee bill, all or some some of the housing charge will be paid (depending on the scholarship amount), and any overage in the student account will be refunded to the student’s account.
Pelican Promise
If you have the Pelican Promise award, you do not have to submit the $250 prepayment at the time of apartment selection. The prepayment is deferred to your fall fee bill.
Upperclassmen living in Annie Boyd and Cedar Halls are required to have a meal plan.
Students who have paid the prepayment to reserve an apartment space and decide to cancel their fall reservation will forfeit the $250 nonrefundable prepayment and are subject to cancellation penalties.
