Biography

Giulia Fedeli graduated from the Ballet Academy of the Teatro Carcano in Milan before earning, with honors, a Certificate from The Ailey School in New York. During her time at Ailey, she performed with the Alvin Ailey Students Performance Group and with Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in "Memoria" during the company’s New York City Center season.

Following her graduation, Giulia collaborated with choreographer Francesca Harper, performing at venues including Central Park Summer Stage in New York City and La Biennale di Venezia in Italy.

From 2010 to 2016, she served as a soloist with Rome-based Danza Prospettiva–ARSlab Production, under the direction of Vittorio Biagi, touring extensively throughout the United States and Europe. While based in Rome, she continued her academic studies and earned her law degree in 2015.

Giulia subsequently spent a year in Shanghai, China before relocating to Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Since then, she has performed with New Orleans Ballet, Baton Rouge Ballet, and Of Moving Colors Productions, while teaching in dance schools throughout the region. In 2019, she completed her training in Antigymnastique and became a certified practitioner.

Giulia currently teaches at Tari’s School of Dance and is proud to join Louisiana State University as a Ballet Instructor.
