Office of Graduate Business Programs Offers Centralized Services for Business Graduate Students

August 22, 2023

The LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business is excited to announce the opening of the Office of Graduate Business Programs (OGBP), a centralized hub that provides a comprehensive collection of services to graduate students. This new unit represents a significant milestone in the Ourso College’s commitment to providing students with exceptional educational and professional development opportunities. OGBP will offer services to enhance graduate students’ academic and professional journeys, like career coaching, professional development resources, experiential learning programs, international travel experiences, networking and industry engagement opportunities, and program application and admission oversight.

OGBP will spearhead targeted efforts to attract exceptional graduate students and serves as the first point of contact for prospective graduate students deciding which program best aligns with their future career goals.

This office fosters the holistic development of business graduate students, ensuring they graduate as well-rounded individuals capable of navigating the complexities of the global business landscape at a high level.

Primarily serving as a support office for graduate student engagement and activity, the Office of Graduate Business Programs is proud to facilitate experiential learning projects and opportunities to connect our graduate student population with the business community. We believe that exposing our students to real-world scenarios during their time in the Ourso College is a vital component of their development into versatile business professionals. It’s about the network students can develop and the opportunities to create a culture of collaboration throughout the College. We’re ready to get started!

Dana Hart, assistant dean of graduate programs and Flores MBA Program director
