LSU MPA Program Moves Up in New U.S. News & World Report Ranking

March 22, 2022

LSU’s MPA Program was recognized in U.S. News & World Report’s 2023 Best Graduate Schools Rankings- Public Affairs Programs that was released today.

This program, which is offered both on campus and online, is designed for prospective students looking to continue their education and advance their careers in both public and private sectors.

The LSU MPA Program moved up two spots from last year’s ranking to T-70 overall and T-51 among public universities on this year’s list of 270 ranked programs. It also ranked higher than competitors such as University of Arkansas, Mississippi State University, Tulane, and UNO.

The faculty and staff of the LSU MPA Program continue to improve on an already excellent program. Our new online MPA and recent improvements to the curriculum will further distinguish the LSU MPA, which boasts an impressive alumni network across the country. This ranking reflects our peers’ growing admiration, and I am grateful to them. I hope to continue building this program and all offerings in public affairs with the new LSU and Ourso College leadership.
