Ever since I started my career, my passion has been to help students.  That journey began as a middle and high school teacher, and has most recently brought me to campus recreation at LSU.  While they may be a little older than middle schoolers, college students still need the same kind of care and sense of mattering and belonging. My hope is that I can foster that sense of belonging with my student employees and impact LSU as a whole.

Live Tiger

I love Mike’s habitat.  It is so unique to be able to have a live animal on campus, and I love taking my 2 year old daughter over there after she gets out of school. 

Amazing Food in Baton Rouge

There are so many great food options! I do miss Texas’ Mexican food, but the creole and seafood are unmatched to any place I have been. 

True Crime, True Love

On the way to work I usually listen to my favorite true crime podcast, Crime Junkies.  Then at home I am usually watching something like Unsolved Mysteries or 20/20.
