College of Science Students, Faculty, and Staff Recognized at the 49th Annual Dean Arthur R. Choppin Honors Ceremony

Each spring, the LSU College of Science celebrates the outstanding accomplishments of its students, faculty, and staff at the Dean Arthur R. Choppin Honors Ceremony.

Named in honor of Dr. Arthur R. Choppin, an LSU graduate in chemistry and botany from the Class of 1918 and dean of the College from 1944 to 1968, the ceremony reflects his enduring legacy of excellence in research and science education.

Now in its 49th year, this distinguished tradition is supported through the generosity of the LSU Foundation and the Louisiana Department of the American Legion scholarship fund.
