LSU AgCenter to Collaborate with Southern University on Research, Teaching

LSU's AgCenter is partnering with its Southern University counterpart to foster collaboration between their research and teaching programs, expanding an existing partnership focused on extension work.

“This is a very exciting occasion,” said Luke Laborde, interim LSU vice president for agriculture and dean of the College of Agriculture. “We’ve had a long partnership in extension, and I’m really excited that we have the opportunity to expand this.”

Work at LSU serves to improve outcomes for Louisiana farmers, ensure food security for every person in our state.
