I have a passion for working with students and student staff to create environments that are welcoming to everyone. I witnessed my RA and other Residence Life Staff do similar things for me when I was in college and wanted to be able to continue that for others.  

 

On campus, I learned that the creation of a community that is inclusive and welcoming begins with each person in the community, not just one leader.  -Emily

I played volleyball all four years of college for the university.

Award-winning

I received first place for a photography award and an honorable mention for a mixed media award in a juried art show I participated in when I was a sophomore in college.
