We are pleased to welcome you to Louisiana State University's inaugural Geaux Pre-Health Week.
This collaborative effort will highlight the pre-healthcare initiatives from across LSU’s main campus. In partnership with our LSU Health campuses in New Orleans and Shreveport, LSU is bringing together academic programs, healthcare organizations, and professionals from across Louisiana and throughout the United States to help students explore the many pathways into healthcare. All LSU students are welcome to attend Geaux Pre-Health Week activities to learn more about LSU’s pre-health pathways, advising initiatives, admissions, and how to prepare for success in the health professions.
Throughout Geaux Pre-Health Week, students will have opportunities to learn about health professions, connect with those working in the field, and experience healthcare through interactive and hands-on events. The week will also feature Careers on the Geaux: Healthcare Pathways, an immersive experience that will take students beyond the LSU campus and into local hospitals and healthcare settings.
We are proud to welcome our partners and students to LSU for this inaugural event and look forward to creating opportunities for students to explore, connect, and envision their future in healthcare.
