Family Weekend guests are encouraged to use the metered visitor parking lots located throughout campus. Metered parking is $1.50 per hour.

The Union Square Parking Garage is the largest and most convenient parking area for Friday's events. Metered parking is available in the Union Square Parking Garage for $1.50 per hour or $12 for the entire day. You may pay for parking when you arrive. The Union Square Parking Garage is located behind the Barnes & Noble at LSU Bookstore, on the corner of East Campus Drive and Veterans Drive.

Saturday, september 28

Parking for Saturday is controlled through the LSU Athletic Department and details on game day parking and traffic can be found at lsusports.net/gameday/parking/.

**Please note that activities on Saturday, September 28 are located in a variety of locations and will require considerable walking from the parking areas to the activities. The LSU Family Weekend Tailgate is located on the Parade Ground (across from the LSU Student Union).

Reserved Permit Parking for Saturday

Reserved parking permits are sold via the LSU Athletic Ticket Office here

Free Public Parking on Saturday

The free (non-reserved) public parking areas on campus are indicated in light gray on the LSU Football Parking Map. Parking availability in these areas is limited and is first-come, first-served. Please note that off-campus free parking is not detailed on the LSU Football 2023 Parking Map. 

ADA Parking

Information about ADA parking policies can be found here. Free ADA parking is located at Lot 406 on Gourrier Ave. There are a limited number of spaces available. This area is available on a first come, first served basis beginning at 7 a.m. on gameday. The lot is accessible by presenting a valid state issued ADA parking permit and/or valid ADA driver’s license to the traffic officers on site. A shuttle is provided to and from Tiger Stadium.

Shuttle service will start at 7 a.m. on gameday. Pickup location will be in Lot 406. The drop off location will be in lot 101 and post-game pickup will be in front of Nicholson Gateway on Nicholson Dr. Shuttles will be available throughout the game until approximately 90 minutes after the game for return service to Lot 406.

Sunday, september 29

Family Weekend guests may park for free in the metered visitor parking lots.  Families and visitors may also park without a permit in the various parking zones on campus.  Parking restrictions and meter fees are not in effect on Sundays. View the interactive campus parking map
