Copywriting and Editing
Our copywriters/editors tell the university’s story via the written word, using the brand’s spirited tone. In addition to creating work that inspires the reader to learn more about LSU, we provide standards to help other writers/editors around campus stay true to the brand voice and editorial style while developing their own projects.
Communications & University Relations builds positive relationships between LSU and its many constituents through strategic internal and external communications that convey the university’s brand identity. Our business manager performs the behind-the-scenes tasks that make us function seamlessly and efficiently.
Our office maintains an array of items for event branding such as table cloths or backdrops, that can be borrowed or rented throughout the year. Please make a request through our service portal to borrow or rent items. Our digital communications team provide leadership and strategic direction for the overall LSU web presence and online communications and marketing efforts. We operate the university’s homepage, second-level pages, and various elements of the university’s core website, in addition to supporting the university’s strategic marketing and communication goals. We work with our campus partners to align strategic communication priorities across various digital media outlets and provide planning and support for messaging and communication priorities throughout the university.
