Career Expo is largest recruiting event, drawing nearly 200 employers from across the country each semester, and over 2,500 students and alumni. Students and alumni of all majors and classifications network with professionals to learn more about career options, graduate and professional programs, find out about open jobs, and explore their intended career fields.

This event is for current students of LSU System campuses and alumni from the Baton Rouge campus.

Career Expo Prep Workshop and Free Headshots for E. J. Ourso College of Business students:
Students will have their résumé reviewed, practice their elevator pitch on recent alumni, and take a professional head-shot all in a consequence-free environment. Attendees are encouraged (but not required) to bring a résumé and wear business professional attire for the head-shot.

Free Headshots at Expo for All Students and Alumni
We offer the opportunity for students and alumni to have a free, professional head-shot taken during Career Expo. Please plan to dress professionally for this opportunity. Photos are edited professionally and returned to students via email one week following the event.
Student Expo Shuttle
Free transportation to and from the PMAC and Patrick F. Taylor Hall is provided by the LSU Engineering College Council.
Shuttle Pick up/ Drop off Locations:
- On Engineering Lane near the North side of Patrick F. Taylor Hall
- On North Stadium Drive in front of the PMAC
Please note that Registrations received after Jan. 28 will not be included in the student handout due to print deadlines.

- Search for this event by entering "Louisiana State University" in the search bar. All LSU open event registrations will appear for you to browse. Select the event you would like to register for and proceed with the registration form.

Sponsorship opportunities include traditional event sponsorships as well as exclusive sponsorship of initiatives that improve student preparedness and expo experience.

What to Bring
EXPO Registration fee includes 1 table (6 foot), 2 chairs, optional plastic table covering, wifi, lunch, refreshments, and parking for up to 4 representatives. The only materials you need to bring are a stack of business cards and/or information about your organization. You are welcome to bring displays that will fit within an 6-foot table display area, and a tablecloth for your table. We will also have plastic tablecloths available for use if needed. Please note, non-Coca-Cola beverage giveaways and balloons are NOT allowed at this event. See more details below.
What NOT to Bring
Beverage and Giveaway Policy: LSU policy strictly prohibits the distribution of any non-Coca-Cola beverages on campus. This includes any giveaways you plan to bring for students. We will provide a variety of approved beverages for employers and students to enjoy during the event. Employers will be asked to store any non-Coca-Cola beverage giveaways out of site during the event and to remove them from the premises when the event ends. Balloon Policy: Balloons are not allowed in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center due to the risk of release and setting off fire alarms during the Career Expo event. Employers will be asked to return balloons to their vehicle or to dispose of them properly prior to the event.
Before the event:
Shipping Dates: January 13 - January 29
Unfortunately, we are not unable to accept anything over 150 pounds. No freight deliveries will be accepted.
Display materials may be shipped prior to the event. If packages are shipped after the deadline, there is no guarantee materials will be at the reserved table when recruiters arrive. All packages must be sent to Two Men & A Truck. The Olinde Career Center is not held liable for any packages that are shipped to the wrong location.

Please make sure that the name of your business/agency is clearly indicated on packaging so your display materials can be placed at your booth prior to your arrival.
After the event:
We will pre-arrange package pick-up by FedEx Ground and UPS Ground. A special area will be designated for dropping off your materials at the end of the day. Please remember to bring account numbers, shipping slips, and any other pertinent information you will need. The LSU Olinde Career Center cannot guarantee pick-up and is not responsible if materials are not shipped on time or do not arrive to the next destination by the requested date.
If you would like to ship your display materials using any other means, please make arrangements to have your materials picked up at the end of the event.
