I love that our team has a meaningful role in shaping students' success throughout their LSU journey. My goal is that whether a student is seeking their first campus job, developing professional skills, or preparing for life after graduation, we help them feel more confident, supported, and prepared because of the work we do.

By empowering supervisors and enhancing student employment experiences, we contribute to a stronger and more impactful LSU experience for every student we serve. As my students (Sherwood Middle and LSU alike) continue to elevate and graduate, I hope they always keep me updated on their achievements!

My Ready to Roar advice

You don't have to have it all figured out during your first year on campus. In fact, that's kind of the entire point. LSU faculty and staff are committed to guiding you through this journey, and you'll never have to navigate it alone. Whether you need help resolving a conflict with your roommate, changing your major, or finding an internship, we have teams in place just for you!

You may be surprised to know

I was a 6th Grade ELA teacher for five years before returning to LSU in June 2022. Now, my former Sherwood Middle students are here at LSU. It's incredibly special to run into them on campus and see them shine! 

Campus coffee connoisseur

There’s a tiny little Airstream trailer on West Chimes that has changed my life. Cherrybomb Coffee is my go-to spot on a good day, a bad day, or a random Tuesday. Whether I’m getting a treat to celebrate something big or a tiny milestone, their drinks and service are consistently fabulous. My first-timer recommendation is the Bengal Brew. It’s also an unspoken requirement of any visit to Cherrybomb to take a selfie in the “hey good lookin’” mirror. Tip your baristas, tigers!
