Director of Construction for Crusoe Energy Systems, leading construction of the Abilene Data Center campus in Texas. He oversees permitting, procurement, logistics, construction, and commissioning, including coordination with onsite power infrastructure teams. His experience spans data centers, commercial construction, and real estate development, with previous roles at Meta Platforms, Sealy and Company, and Manhattan Construction Company. Slack earned a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Louisiana State University in 2012.


David Whale

His career with MMR includes service as Mission Critical Program Manager and Mission Critical Director, with experience supporting data center construction. He joined the company in 2014 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Louisiana State University. Based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Wale brings more than a decade of experience in mission critical construction and program leadership.


Devin Harrison

With more than 15 years at the agency, he brings extensive experience in economic development and business investment. Harrison participated in the team that secured Meta’s major artificial intelligence data center investment in Richland Parish and has worked with higher education partners to address its workforce needs. He also serves on the board of the Louisiana Economic Alliance for Development.


Josh (Joshua) Major

Over twenty years of industrial and commercial construction experience, he excels in project engineering, estimating, supervision, planning, and scheduling, safety and quality management. He holds a degree in Construction Management from Baton Rouge Community College, where he graduated at the top of his 2013 class while concurrently working as a full-time masonry estimator.
