Building for AI. Building with AI.

October 14–16, 2026 · Baton Rouge

The construction industry is building the infrastructure AI runs on while deciding how to use AI in its own work. For three days in October, LSU brings both conversations to Baton Rouge.

Three days connecting big ideas, real construction challenges, and hands-on artificial intelligence at LSU’s College of Engineering.

ONE CONNECTED WEEK

Listen. Shape.
Build.

AI in Construction Week brings together university leaders, researchers, technology experts, students, and the construction industry. The program moves from a distinguished lecture, to an industry–academic data center workshop, to applied training with Claude Code.

ANTHROPIC - CONSTRUCTION DAY

Claude Code Workshop

Construction Day is a free, hands-on morning with Claude Code, presented at LSU by Anthropic's Claude Workshops with Tenex. It is for the people in a construction company who decide how work gets done. You do not need to write code but do bring a laptop. You will direct AI agents to build a working tool, and you will leave knowing what these systems can and cannot do for your firm. Every seat is approved individually, so each person applies separately.
