LSU Vet Med gave out approximately $346,178 in scholarships and awards in 2026

In 2026, the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine gave out approximately $346,178 in scholarships and awards to veterinary students; these do not include the awards and scholarships for the senior students graduating in 2026. Students received monetary awards, memberships to professional organizations, journal subscriptions, plaques, certificates and veterinary medicine manuals and supplies. Since 2016, the LSU SVM has distributed more than $2.79 million in scholarships and awards thanks to the generosity of private citizens, foundations, organizations, and corporations. Scholarships and awards for the Class of 2026 are included in the announcement about commencement.
