The LSU School of Veterinary Medicine will host its annual Open House on Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at LSU Vet Med on the LSU campus on Skip Bertman Drive. The event is free and open to the public and welcomes animal lovers of all ages.
LSU Vet Med Open House offers visitors a behind-the-scenes look at veterinary medicine, biomedical research, and animal health through interactive exhibits, demonstrations, and hands-on activities.
Event highlights include:
- Interactive exhibits hosted by LSU Vet Med students, faculty, staff, and community partners
- Live demonstrations showcasing veterinary medicine in action
- Teddy Bear Repair Station, where children can have stuffed animals “sutured”
