Who should attend? Sport administrators of collegiate and professional sport, sport management undergraduate and graduate students, college faculty and professors, sport industry professionals

 

The Annual Applied Sport Management Association Conference is a three-day conference that bridges both academic and practitioner aspects of the sport industry. This conference is geared towards emerging scholars and graduate students with opportunities to present the latest research of an applied nature, while also providing a venue for future sport industry professionals to connect and learn from industry leaders. The conference includes an academic portion, as well as an industry-focused portion with a career fair and breakout sessions focused on success in the industry.

The Applied Sport Management Association is an organization of individuals who seek to promote applied research in the field of sport management. Organizational membership is open to both academics and graduate students affiliated with sport management programs across the nation. Additionally, the organization aims to bridge the gap between academic scholars and industry practitioners through two outlets: the Journal of Applied Sport Management, and the annual conference.
