About CCT’s Office of Grant Development
The CCT Business Office supports CCT faculty and researchers providing pre-and post-award grant administration services. CCT grant administration support helps meets the long-term institutional research and educational priorities of CCT and LSU through promoting new and junior faculty research, senior faculty research, and even undergraduate and graduate research. The office helps support the development of research partnerships across LSU colleges, departments, centers and interdisciplinary groups through its administrative services.
For information on grants, contact CCT Manager of Grants and Contracts, Erica D'Spain, at 225-578-1294 or edspain@lsu.edu.
Human Resources
The Center for Computation & Technology (CCT) is an interdisciplinary research center on the LSU campus, where representatives from all areas of academics work with the high-performance computing resources available on campus to advance breakthroughs. CCT recruits professors and researchers from all disciplines, from physics and computer science to art, music and design. All CCT faculty hold joint appointments with other academic departments on LSU's campus.

Travel authorizations must be submitted at least one week prior to your planned trip.
According to Accounting Services, if the authorization is not filled out prior to
travel, you may not be covered by LSU insurance. This applies whether you are traveling
out of state, out of the country or to another city in Louisiana. If you do not use
the state authorized travel agent, you must have approval, in advance, from Donna
K. Torres, the Executive Director of Accounting Services. Contact Brittany Juneau
(578-4012) for more information.
Travelers must complete the internal travel approval form and the AS292 including
all information requested on the forms. Copies of these forms are located under the
mailboxes on the third floor of Johnston Hall. Both forms can also be found on here:

AS292 authorization to travel form. Signed originals should be brought to Brittany
Juneau. Only after your AS292 form has been approved are you authorized to purchase
a ticket. In many cases, CCT will charge your airfare to the department account (please
check before personally paying for your ticket).REMEMBER: Save receipts for everything
you expect to be reimbursed for!
Upon your return, bring all receipts to Brittany Juneau, 216 Johnston Hall to get

The CCT views national and international contacts and collaborations as crucial for its research mission. To help facilitate these connections, CCT funds an active and flexible visitors program to bring expert faculty, researchers and students from around the world to interact with our focus areas.
At the CCT, guests play a vital role in the scientific and technological work of the center, and visits of several weeks or months are encouraged so guests can contribute fully to research programs at CCT and establish collaborative projects.
The CCT does not accept direct applications for its visitor program. The CCT staff member with whom a visitor would work must invite him or her to participate in this program.
While at CCT, guests are expected to involve themselves in the research projects of the CCT and to present seminars, lectures, tutorials and other activities as appropriate.
At CCT, visitors play a vital role in the scientific and technological work of the Center, and short visits as well as visits of several weeks or months are encouraged to enable guests to contribute fully to research programs at CCT and to establish fruitful collaboration.
