Buy a Brick
The LSU School of Veterinary Medicine opened the Milton J. Womack Serenity Garden in 2004 to celebrate and give tribute to the bond between man and animals. Donated by the Womack family and dedicated in memory of the late Milton J. Womack, Sr., the Serenity Garden is located near the Small Animal Clinic entrance of the Veterinary Teaching Hospital. Landscaped by LSU landscape architect students, it provides a peaceful spot for reflection. The Serenity Garden is a place to honor special family members or pets with an engraved brick that will be viewed by the many visitors and clients who come to the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine.
Bricks can be purchased in memory of a beloved pet, family members or friends, or someone who has been important in the life of your pet. This will create a lasting tribute that honors them. Each $200 gift entitles you to an engraved brick in the Serenity Garden. Bricks measure 4” x 8” and can include up to three lines of 13 characters each—customized with your selection of name, date, or endearment.
