Dean's Grand Rounds

Dean's Grand Rounds take place during fall and spring semesters (January, March, April, August, September, October, and November) on the last Wednesday of the month at 8 a.m. in the LSU Vet Med Auditorium. Each February, Dean's Grand Rounds is replaced by Phi Zeta Research Emphasis Day.

LSU Vet Med and its Office of Inclusive Excellence are pleased to have Alexandra Noël, PhD, assistant professor of Comparative Biomedical Sciences, present at Dean's Grand Rounds as part of Women's History Month. Dr. Noel will present "Career advancement through the lenses of mentoring and networking – Tips from a basic research scientist."

Dr. Noël received her BS in 2003, her MSc in 2007, and her PhD in 2013, all from the Université de Montréal. She joined the faculty of LSU Vet Med in 2017, and her research focus is on the production and characterization of aerosols, composed of engineered nanoparticles, ultrafine or fine particles, as well as inhalation and developmental toxicology.
