ICC Building Rental

The ICC building is available for rent throughout the year whenever LSU is open. Situated close to the University Lakes, the ICC is an ideal location for meetings, workshops, and parties.

A large event space with flags hanging from the ceiling

The Hall of Cultures is our main hall, featuring over 100 flags from the home countries of many of our international students. This space is great for large events, with a capacity of 130 people.

Medium sized event space with tables and chairs

The Heagler Room is located next to the kitchen and has access to a large lawn space outside. Capacity 50 people. 

Industrial Kitchen

The kitchen is located next to the Heagler room and comes equipped with a stovetop, oven, fridge, freezer, warmer, and sink. We also have additional amenities such as a coffee maker, microwave, and pots and pans for your use.

Conference Room with a table and chairs

The conference room is perfect for small group meetings. It has a capacity of 10 people.

Reservations and Booking

To reserve rooms at the ICC, fill out the rental request form below. Please note that all reservations are subject to approval. We will contact you within two business days to discuss details and confirm your event. 

ICC Rental Request Form

  • ICC Rental requests must be submitted at least three business days before the proposed event date.
  • To rent the ICC, student organizations must register their event through Tiger Life at least 10 days prior to the event date for final approval.  
  • If you are booking the building for a community event, or you are not considered an LSU organization, you will need permission from the Office of Finance and Administration, located in 330 T. Boyd Hall, phone number 225-578-3386, fax number 225-578-5403. 
  • To serve alcohol at an event here, you need to apply to Campus Life for a permit. All rules and regulations must be strictly adhered to throughout the event. Copies of the permit must be received by the ICC prior to the event. 
  • Use of the building by LSU-affiliated groups or individuals must comply with the LSU Code of Student Conduct. 
  • Cancellation must be received two full business days (Monday-Friday) prior to date of the scheduled event (i.e., Sunday event must be cancelled by 8am on Thursday); otherwise, the rental fee will still be charged. 
  • The event coordinator must be present during the entire event and must assist ICC staff in enforcing all rules. This person must check in with ICC staff for the building to be opened and must check out with ICC staff at the end of the event.  
  • If children are present during the event, it is the responsibility of the group or individual to provide supervision at all times. No children shall be left unattended or unsupervised. 
  • The group/individual using the ICC is responsible for leaving the building in the same or better condition than it was found at the start of the event. All garbage, especially in the kitchen, must be properly bagged and must be taken by the group/individual to the trash dumpster. Any utensils, refrigerator, oven, warming oven, microwave oven, and especially the kitchen sinks must be left in the same condition as they were found at the beginning of the event. Failure to do so may result in a group/individual’s being denied future use of the ICC facilities and equipment. The ICC also reserves the right to charge up to $100 for any additional time it takes to clean up leftover messes. 
  • The group/individual using the ICC is responsible for ensuring that the event ends on time and that all clean up is completed in the timeframe indicated on the rental request. The ICC reserves the right to charge for additional time in which the space is occupied past the agreed upon end time at a rate of up to $100/hour.
  • The group or individual, as well as any sponsoring or co-sponsoring groups, will be held accountable for any damage to ICC equipment or property beyond the normal wear and tear associated with proper usage. Groups or individuals are expected to pay for repairs or replacement of equipment damaged during events, and failure to report such damage may result in additional fees. 
  • No individuals using the ICC will be allowed to smoke inside the building. 
  • Payment is due at the end of the event. Payment can be made in the form of cash, money order, online payment, or check. Any cleaning, damage, or extended use fees will be charged afterward and are due no more than five business days from the event end.
