Office of Research & Economic Development awards psychology faculty

LSU's Office of Research & Economic Development (ORED) awarded two psychology faculty members for their outstanding research, scholarship, and creative activity in the area of Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences & Behavioral Sciences.

Clinical psychology professor Dr. Paul Frick has been named the 2023 Distinguished Research Master Awardee. Since 1972, the Council on Research has presented the University-wide award of Distinguished Research Master in recognition of outstanding career accomplishments in research and scholarship. The recipient is chosen by the Council from nominees proposed from the University community.

Additionally, industrial/organizational psychologist Dr. Don Zhang has been named the 2023 LSU Rainmaker Emerging Scholar. This award recognizes both sustained and continuing work, as well as the impact that work has had on the faculty members, their department, and their academic community.
