Offerings include native and adapted plants from trees to ornamental grasses and everything in between. Plant experts will be on hand to help with plant selections. Whether you need plants for a bog or plants that are drought tolerant, our crew can set you on the right path. If you already know what you want, consult the plant availability list which will be posted in the right-hand sidebar by 5:00pm Friday, April 7.
Return of Favorites
The Hilltop Gift Shop and Yarden Sale will be joined by specialty plant and garden vendors in Vendor Village, located under the open-air pavilion, to meet all the needs of gardeners and their gardens. Except for Felco clippers, all items in the Gift shop will be discounted 25%. Members at the Redbud level ($75) and above will receive another 10% discount on Gift Shop items.
All Spring Fling purchases from Hilltop are tax free and members at the Azalea level ($50) and above receive another 10% off plants.
Shopping Tips
- Park in the Oak Hills subdivision and walk-in. (Sheriff's officer will let shoppers with a handicap placards park at Hilltop.)
- Bring your own wagon or cart.
- A limited number of wagons will be available for rent. These come with a volunteer to pull the wagon.
- Cash, checks and credit cards are accepted.
Exclusive Membership Benefit
Current Hilltop members get first pick of plants on Wednesday, April 12, from 9am – 6pm.
Become a member of the Friends of Hilltop Arboretum online at the $35 level or above by Thursday, April 6 and enjoy the member-only shopping day. Members will be sent a plant availability list via email one week prior to the sale.
Friends of Hilltop Arboretum needs your support now more than ever. All of our revenue streams continue to be impacted by the coronavirus pandemic. Your donation and/or membership directly supports our operations and keeps our mission alive.
Shoppers are directed to park in the Oak Hills subdivision for the sale and walk into the arboretum from Pecan Grove Court. Please do not park on Highland Road it is not safe.
