MA Student, Giuliani Alvarenga, Publishes Article
Giuliani Alvarenga wrote an article for a well-respected publication in Honduras about transnationalism and coerced migration patterns with women. He interviewed UCLA Chair of the Central American Studies Department-- Leisy Abrego-- and they developed a discussion on labor, gender, and the sacrifices families make to sustain loved ones in home country.
