Dr. Heather McKillop Speaks About Maya Salt Works in Interview

Dr. Heather McKillop was interviewed on Science Friday and speaks about the Maya salt works and her recent article in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS).  Dr. McKillop discusses her research on how Classic Mayan salt production and the use of chert stone tools had an impact on the Classic Maya economy and other important aspects of everyday life.
