Alumnus Soe W. Myint Presents a Speech at the 129th AIT Graduation Ceremony

Soe W. Myint is an esteemed Geography and Anthropology alumnus. He earned his PhD in 2001. He is currently a Professor at Arizona State University where he specializes in remote sensing and GIScience.  He uses these skills to investigate urban land use land cover, urban climate, drought, desertification and deforestation, agriculture water use, among other issues. Dr. Myint delivered a graduation speech to the Asian Institute of Technology in which he shared personal stories and reflections of the past. Dr. Myint proudly donned his purple and gold gown for the occasion.
