About the Field House

This east plaza of the newly renovated Huey P. Long Field House integrates hardscaping and landscaping to create a beautiful pedestrian plaza overlooking the historic Campus Mounds across Field House Drive. In addition to serving as the home of the College of Human Sciences & Education, the Huey P. Long Field House also houses the School of Kinesiology and the School of Social Work. The Early Childhood Education Laboratory Preschool (birth to four years), a subsidiary of the School of Education, and the University Laboratory School (K-12), the sixth school of the college, are both located elsewhere on the LSU campus on Gourrier Lane and Dalrymple Drive, respectively.
