The Perspectives series provides an environment in which students, faculty, staff, and community members can collaborate to educate and inform, foster inclusion, and empower others to become changemakers in the community.

"What do you see...when you see a Black Man?" - July 8, 2020

Our inaugural Perspectives premiered with a virtual conversation featuring a song by two-time Grammy nominee and LSU alum Sean Ardoin of Zydekool Records.

Ardoin’s music video What Do You See? addresses racism and injustice among Black males in America. Moderated by Dean Roland Mitchell, this episode consist of a panel of community, faculty, and civic leaders in a discussion around this critical and very timely topic.
