Consulting

Overview

The Department of Experimental Statistics provides state-of-the-art statistical consulting expertise to all faculty, staff, and students affiliated with the University and the LSU AgCenter. Consulting sessions involve an EXST faculty member. In addition, one or more EXST graduate students may participate. The first consulting session is usually limited to approximately one hour; follow-up meetings may be scheduled.

Our goal in providing this valuable expertise is to foster better science at LSU through the cross-fertilization of ideas and the promotion and application of modern, sound statistical methodologies in all of the empirical sciences.

Consulting sessions may lead to a collaborative research arrangement among parties, and when needed may also lead to the creation of new statistical methodologies by EXST faculty.

To schedule a consulting session, please complete and submit the form below.

You may request to meet with a specific faculty member, but there is no guarantee that the person you request will be available.
