I took the opportunity to be the Graduate Assistant for Student Government (SG), because I believe in the overarching mission of the organization to Lead, Advocate, and Serve on behalf of the student body.
I served in various capacities in SG in all four years of my undergraduate experience. Each year, I became increasingly aware of the potential positive change that I could provide for other students. Therefore, it’s been my ultimate goal to broaden the composition of SG members to better reflect the student body, and best represent the unique needs of the various groups' houses. Furthermore, I do this work to expand the reach of SG and to foster a better LSU climate, culture, and community now, and into the future.
