Desktop Operations provides University departments, administrative units, colleges, and research facilities with expertise in supporting, implementing, administering, configuring, and replacing computer endpoint devices and ITS supported software. Our Team will provide administration and troubleshooting support for Windows and Mac end-user devices. Our goal is to support users' LSU-owned desktops and laptops from a business continuity perspective. We are available to provide support to all LSU departments. Some of the services we can assist with are:
- Equipment Life-Cycle replacement
- Setup of new devices
- Break/fix and troubleshooting of current devices
- Installation of LSU ITS supported software
- Device wiping and preparation for surplus
We will ensure that you can use your LSU-owned computer as your departmental role defines by providing prompt service when it isn't working as you need.
