ITS Computer Store

About

Owned and operated by Louisiana State University, the ITS Computer Store is a new resource available to all LSU departments. Utilizing the purchase power and technical expertise of Information Technology Services, staff will provide the best solution for each department at a competitive price point. The Computer Store is located on the first floor of the Student Union Building in room 160A.

The store plans to keep a few different laptop and desktop configurations in stock to allow for quick and easy purchasing. If there are specific configurations needed, ITS staff will work to create a custom quote for the department.

In-stock items may be picked up at the storefront in the Union, and pickup is typically available the next business day.

Benefits

All equipment is inspected and tested.  Every item is given an asset tag and inventoried with Property Management as per established processes and procedures of Property Management.

All computers can be pre-imaged, on request, utilizing the base images or departmental images on our PXE servers.

Warranty Information

The ITS Computer Store is Dell TechDirect certified and able to handle all warranty repairs in-house. 
All desktop PCs and laptops come with a 3+ year warranty, with most including accidental damage.

Returns/Refunds

Most items can be returned for a full refund for up to 10 days after pickup if it is undamaged and has all the original packaging with it.
Past that timeframe, the ITS Computer Store can help with warranty returns and repairs if needed.

In-ear headsets can only be returned if the box is unopened.

Departmental Purchases

Delivery Service

The ITS Computer Store is now offering a delivery service to buildings around the main LSUAM campus. It is only for smaller orders. This is typically between 1-5 items but is ultimately up to the discretion of the ITS Computer Store with the size of the items being the biggest factor. If your order qualifies, you will be sent instructions for scheduling the delivery when the order is ready.

The delivery days, weather permitting, are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday between 9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
