The Édouard Glissant Tout-Monde Assistantship for PhD Studies in French

Amount: $28,000 annually

We are proud to offer a $28,000 assistantship to the top two applicants to the PhD program in French Studies at Louisiana State University. Students holding BA or MA degrees should apply to the Ph.D. program to be considered for the Glissant assistantship. This prestigious award is named after the world-renowned poet, novelist, essayist, and theorist, Edouard Glissant who directed the Center for French and Francophone Studies at LSU from 1988 to 2003. The deadline for applications is February 15.
