Recent Events

On February 3, 2021, the Department of French Studies will honor its former colleague Edouard Glissant, poet, novelist, and thinker on the tenth anniversary of his death by a reading of Glissant's texts in French and English translations. Sylvie Glissant will be speaking.

Readers include: Raphael Lauro, Université de Montréal; Fabienne Kanor, Pennsylvania State University; Alexandre Leupin, Louisiana State University, Emeritus; and Adelaide Russo, Louisiana State University.

The Reading will take place via Zoom at noon (CST) and last for one hour.
