G&A Andeanist co-authors chapter in Dumbarton Oaks book

Congratulations to Professor David Chicoine who, along with research collaborators Hugo Ikehara (Metropolitan Museum of Art) and Koichiro Shibata (Hosei University), co-wrote "Beyond Chavín: The Millennium BC in the Nepeña Valley" for the collective volume Reconsidering the Chavín Phenomenon in the Twenty-First Century edited by Richard L. Burger and Jason Nesbitt and published by Dumbarton Oaks Research Library and Collection, and Harvard University Press. The chapter offers a synthesis of recent archaeological finds from the lower Nepeña Valley in Peru to reconstruct the history of its communities during the first millennium BC.
