Lecturer in GIS – Ohio State University

The Department of Geography at The Ohio State University seeks a Lecturer in Geographical Information Sciences. Courses to be taught in Autumn and Spring semesters of appointment year (2018-2019). This will be a one year appointment with the possibility of renewal based on positive performance, department need, and budgetary allowance. Salary range is negotiable and based on course load.  Full time equivalency will range between 50% and 100% dependent upon the number of courses assigned (4-8 per academic year).  Position involves teaching courses that range over GIS, data analysis, and spatial analysis. The department is looking for a dedicated instructor who has these classes in their repertoire and who can take on these responsibilities in a manner consistent with the other faculty members teaching the classes.
